The project is a complete renovation of an apartment that had an unusual partition with a large circular opening. We wanted to highlight this sculptural partition by creating a sliding bookcase that would serve as a separation between the living area and the night space, but also as storage for the client's vast book collection.

Brise Échalas

In the dining room, the lines follow the roundness of the bookcase and create a niche for a tableware cabinet.

The bookcase slides from right to left and opens a passage to the private area of the apartment.

All the more intimate functions (sleeping, washing, dressing) are located behind the sliding bookcase.
