In the dining room, the lines follow the roundness of the bookcase and create a niche for a tableware cabinet. |
The bookcase slides from right to left and opens a passage to the private area of the apartment. |
All the more intimate functions (sleeping, washing, dressing) are located behind the sliding bookcase. |
The project is a complete renovation of an apartment that had an unusual partition with a large circular opening. We wanted to highlight this sculptural partition by creating a sliding bookcase that would serve as a separation between the living area and the night space, but also as storage for the client's vast book collection. |

Adjustable curtains on the shop frontage protects the pastries from the sun. |
Inside the pastry shop, brushes, aprons and trays are hung on a series of hooks. |
Custom built tables. |
Handmade cushions made from second hand fabrics. |
The aim of the commission was to revitalise the interior of a pastry shop which had been in business in Marseille for over ten years. We designed a new identity, interior design and a complete set of furniture and textiles specially for this pastry shop. Each item is designed to be adaptable for multi-purpose use, thus ensuring its longevity. A system of adjustable curtains on the shop frontage protects the pastries from the sun and extends a warm welcome from the street. Inside the pastry shop, brushes, aprons and trays are hung on a series of hooks, displaying both the beautiful and the useful. |

In order to create a calm but warm place, we used sound absorbing materials like cork. |
The tables of the tasting room are retractable and allow the reception of events. |
The commission was to create a new café for a coffee chain. We designed a new interior focusing on the use of sustainable materials and modular furniture. The tasting area is adjustable and can be extended or removed when used for events. |

The bathroom behind the glazed partition. |
The desk near the bed area. |
Bookshelves and curtain hiding a walk-in-closet. |
The project consisted of an unusual request, yet with very contemporary issues. The client wanted to create a separate suite from his downstairs apartment so that he could isolate himself to work at home and to sleep. We focused on hiding all the functional spaces and equipments that could disrupt concentration, however, we did create a partition half glazed so the light could transverse the entire space. |

The kitchen interacting with the bathroom. |
Kitchen curtain made of second hand fabrics. |
The wall between the bureau and the kitchen was opened in order to ensure that light comes from both sides of the apartment. |
The project consisted in re-designing the layout of an apartment in a former coaching inn dating from the 18th century and built around a paved courtyard. The major initiative taken was to switch around the bathroom and the kitchen. The kitchen space then became larger and opened onto the sitting-room while the bathroom became a naturally aired and ventilated space. |
