This apartment, located on the 22nd floor of a residential tower, was conceived as both a place to live and a space for experimentation for studio classico. The layout is organized into two distinct blocks — a private suite and a generous public space — allowing circulation without overlap and preserving intimacy within an open plan. The kitchen was designed as an everyday space where you’re still allowed to have fun. A pantry-wall opens to 180° and unfolds tools and ingredients: everything visible, everything easy. It closes, and the room becomes calm again. A hand-painted tile backsplash, developed in collaboration with artist Max Wuchner, introduces small characters moving somewhere between fable, symbol, and domestic wink. Some remind us to eat less meat, others that we’re already running late — a discreet and playful way to bring narrative and humor into a space that’s often treated too seriously. A raised tatami platform defines the living area within a large open room, while a continuous library extends from the workspace into the kitchen, blurring the line between domestic routines and collective life.
